Other: Umbrella organisations
IMARES is contracted by several umbrella organizations for the performance of research projects. Also these organizations are represented in several research projects. Within this context umbrella organizations link the research scope to the requirements of the involved stakeholders, and thus create broad acceptance.
The umbrella organizations organize workshops, and meetings and moderate the evaluation of relevant research questions. Via such collaboration, and interactions, the best suitable research scope is selected. In this way there good synergy is found in the performance of governmental funding programs and stimulation of the industry via research activities. Applying this approach stimulates that information is directly available for the industry and authorities.
