Monitoring (potential) toxic phytoplankton
Monitoring of potential toxic phytoplankton species is performed by analyzing delivered samples to the IMARES laboratory. According to ISO 9001 procedures the sample is analyzed for presence and numbers of (toxic) phytoplankton. The responsible technicians is certified for the identification via IOC (International Oceanographic Committee). After analyses the results are reported in a clear overview, and if desired accompanied by a short advise based the results (in case of presence of phytoplankton). This service provides easy interpretation of the results, and potential follow-up for the client.
