IMARES is involved with all facets of Natura 2000: IMARES provides basic data about the distribution of species and habitats, offers advice about the designation of Natura 2000 areas, provides assistance with European Natura 2000 application forms and prepares management plans once the areas have been designated. IMARES also provides Appropriate Evaluations.
