Wetlab IJmuiden
The wetlab is a temperature controlled laboratory designed for processing wet biological samples, like fish.
2 electric adjustable, stainless steel dissection tables are available in the wetlab. For each table, a waterproof scale is available (IP65, max 60kg/1g) as well as a laptop for direct data-entry and a printer.
Furthermore, the wetlab is equipped with a defrosting stand, allowing to defrost samples separately in a controlled manner. A cold storage (+4°C) and freezer room (-20°C) are accessible directly from the wetlab and a storage facility for fish boxes is also provided for. Cleaning facilities encompass a sink and a low pressure water hose.
